University Park, PA (WJAC) — Penn State's incoming president will begin her new job this spring.
The university announcing Neeli Bendapudi will take office on May 10th.
She was approved by the university trustees last month to be Penn State's 19th president.
“This is a huge enterprise. The first thing to do is hopefully get the wisdom of President Barron and the wisdom of members of our board. Learn the rhythms of the year, the academic year.”
Bendapudi will begin working on campus with current Penn State president Eric Barron in March.
