JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — PennDOT has announced a nearly 10-million-dollar state investment in projects at ten airports across the state for facility improvements.
The John Murtha Johnstown-Cambria County Airport is getting over one million dollars in funding for site preparation for a new hangar at the airport.
Airport manager Cory Cree says Saint Francis University will be developing an "aircraft maintenance program" at the airport, where students can learn how to become aircraft mechanics.

Firefighters showed them around and gave the team a glimpse of what they do every day.
Robert Morris plays at the War Memorial Saturday against Ontario Tech.
The team's assistant coach says road trips can provide the team with a bonding experience that can help them later in the season.

UPDATE:Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Cambria County have identified the man who was killed in a crash along Route 22 in Cresson Friday night.
Troopers say 76-year-old Richard Bartoletti, of Midway, Pa, was killed in the two-vehicle crash.
Investigators say Bartoletti's vehicle was stopped in the left, westbound lane, near the Munster exit, for an unknown reason.
Authorities say the vehicle had "no rear illuminated lights" and was rear-ended by a van traveling in the same westbound lane.

BELLEFTONE - Jeffrey Sandusky, the son of convicted sex offender and Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky, pleaded guilty to 14 counts of child sex abuse Friday.
Sandusky pleaded guilty to every count one week before his trial, including 12 felonies.
As part of the plea agreement, Sandusky faces a minimum of three to six years in prison. Prosecutors will seek that he serves a four to eight-year sentence.
Sandusky will have to register as the highest tier of sex offender in the state.
