Some members on Capitol Hill believe grade school is where antisemitism begins, while school administrators pushed back on the claim that antisemitism is running rampant through their halls.

Bond denied for defendant in deadly wedding night crash
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Bond has been denied for a 25-year-old woman who was accused of crashing into a wedding party while under the influence of alcohol and killing the bride. At a hearing on Tuesday, Jamie Lee Komoroski's motion for bond was denied because she is considered a flight risk.
“This is certainly a very tragic situation for all concerned,” Circuit Judge Michael Nettles said after delivering his decision.

Crews battle early morning chemical plant fire in Pennsylvania
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa (WPXI) — Authorities battled a chemical fire Monday morning at the CONSOL Energy Plant in Washington County, Pennsylvania.
Officials say the fire started around 6:30 a.m. and multiple fire units were called to the scene.
As a result of the extreme heat from the fire, a part of the building collapsed at the Bailey Mining Production site.
Dark, black smoke could be seen from miles away and homes near the facility were evacuated as a precaution.

JOHNSTOWN — COVID-19 has forced Major League Baseball to postpone its 2020 regular season.
The latest WJAC-TV 6 Sports Stories segment features the opening of a new home for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 2001, the Pirates left Three Rivers Stadium, and moved into PNC Park.

Altoona RR museum to host reading events to educate kids on local rail history

Chestnut Ridge official facing charges for not reporting sexual assault gets bail reduced
BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Patrick Isgan is facing charges for a reported role he played as Chestnut Ridge's Middle School Vice Principal in not allegedly not reporting sexual assault incidents involving students.
Isgan made a court appearance Wednesday looking to lower his bail. A judge's decision was made to reduce the bail amount from the original $1 million to $100,000 with only 10 percent ($10,000) having to be posted.
